It has been 8 years since we have had a new president in office, and a liberal one at that. In the past, liberals have been partial to allocating funds for social organizations. Obama is definitely a liberal who is likely to adhere to this philosophy. Government grants are available for a variety of needs, the most common of which are furthering your education, starting a business, and for healthcare purposes. Those are not the only things you can get a grant for though, as there are different grants available for a large variety of needs. This does not mean you will just be handed free money. You must do whatever you need to do in order to make ends meet, and asking for some government grant money is means of assistance you should not rule out.
Citizens of the United States are in huge financial trouble right now, which is a main cause of the economic crisis. Mortgages will go unpaid, and houses will be put into foreclosure due to this financial loss. A lot of methods of financial assistance are available, but it appears that only large businesses are going to benefit from the stimulus package.
